Wowza have the last few months been insane or have they been INSANE? I refuse to even say the c-word aloud anymore. It has turned our world upside down and frankly, I’m kinda sick of hearing it.
So you may have heard Andrew and I decided to postpone our 6/14/2020 date at the end of March before invitations were even printed. I’ll take going with that gut feeling a huge success because it did save us so much unwanted anxiety. It sucks to postpone such a big exciting day. Every time I get upset about it I just count my blessings that I have the availability to actually postpone the event. So many people are hurting right now and I will not be one to complain over my small nuisance in the big scheme of things.
Last week we dropped off postponed postcards in the mail. We don’t have a boujee budget and we still aren’t really sure when we will be able to have our day. So for now we at least wanted to give our guests the heads up that 6/14 will not be happening. We are really happy with the way we worded it and maybe it will help you as well.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our loved ones we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to a later date. Our thoughts are will you during this time and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. For more information please visit saurebrunchabration.com. With love, Jordan Brunmeier and Andrew Saure”
I create and print each postcard for only $.75 and with postage that makes the grand total of $1.10 for each. Send me a message if you are interested in working together for any and all of your invitation needs.
I am so excited to celebrate all the things with close friends and family again. How about you?
