Hi friend!
Happy New Year’s Eve Eve. This is one my favorite days to reflect back on the year and sort through all the wins from the year. I have been able and loving staying home with my bebe. I have started a gym routine, and I have added some art pieces to the living room. Doing this exercise helps to enter the new year with a positive outlook. Boy, am I ready to take on 2019. Are you?
Since Andrew and I have started dating we have made a pact to always start the New Year together with a fancy drink. His go-to is Grand Marnier and mine is Champagne. The second year we were like- why don’t we combined the two? Thus our Cadillac Mimosas have gone down in history.
If you haven’t had Grand Marnier before- go get some. In the winter it’s awesome over ice to warm you up. It sounds insane but it really works. I love adding it to margarita’s but really the best thing to add it to is champagne and orange juice. So simple but so, so good. Here’s how I make them:
Ingredients
- Grand Marnier
- Orange Juice
- Champagne or prosecco
Directions
- In a flute add a splash to half an ounce of Grand Marnier
- Fill about halfway with orange juice
- Top with bubbles
Cheers to 2019,
