This has been quite a holiday for us this year! I wanted to take a moment to share the FOUR costumes Quinn wore this year. I am hoping it will inspire you for the years to come.
This costume was by far the easiest and quickest to throw together. Quinn watches Leap at least once a week and currently wants to grow up to be a ballerina. This leotard, the flats, and tights were an easy grab and throw on for Daddy’s company Halloween Trick or Treat around the office. Topped off with a top bun easy peasy- and super cute.
2. Shirley Temple
Spoiler alert, this was a costume I purchased last year. I ordered it too late and Quinn didn’t get to wear it. Luckily she still fit into it and had those curls to match. I ordered the dress from Bizzy Bumpkins on Etsy!
3. The Witch
Another easy one! We got the hat and dress this summer at TJ Max. Not sure if its still available but a simple black dress and tights could work in pulling this together. The ‘mop-stick’ was insisted by her from the Melissa and Doug kit.
4. The Cat
This one is by far my favorite and the one we wore on Halloween night! A simple black shirt, black pants and a homemade tutu made from black glittery tulle. My living room more than likely will be shedding glitter until next summer but it turned out so well! I picked up 50 yards of tulle and elastic band from Michael’s and used this tutorial by My Honeys Place to make the skirt. Honestly, I used a safety pin to clip the ends together and then a coat hanger to form a tail and wrapped it with the tulle. It was simple but oh so perfect.
