Hi there!
Exciting news for the summer! I have been given the opportunity to begin the journey of staying home with my little QB. Andrew and I have been discussing the possibility for the past few months. I finally pulled the trigger and here we are.
I am most looking forward to having the beautiful summer to enjoy with my almost four-year-old mini. I created bucket list of all the things we want to do this summer. Here’s what we have so far:
- Plant herbs
- Enjoy the pool
- Visit the zoo
- Play at Elk Creek Water Park
- Do the butterfly activity
- Gymnastics class
- Visit Joslyn Art Museum
- Go to the Durham Museum
- Go bowling
- Visit the Children’s Museum
- Walk the pedestrian bridge
- Walk the Gene Leahy Mall
- Do one of the Regency Kids Activities
- Go to the new Coyote Run splash park
- Visit the Hillsborough park
- Go camping
- Eat watermelon
- Make PB protein balls
- Build an indoor fort
- Bake cookies
- Decorate cupcakes
- Have a water balloon fight
- Do yoga
- Have an ice cream bar
- Make ice cream in a bag
- Bake our own pizza
- Make a video
- Throw a frisbee in the park
- Make homemade pita chips
- Prep for preschool with our pre-k booklet
Let me know if you have anything on your list that we should add. I am so looking forward to a more open ended schedule. Hopefully, the summer will go a little bit slower than it usually does.
